The Danish city of Herning will host the ninth EuroSkills Competition in 2025. Herning is home to a thriving industrial sector, with a large international workforce focusing on a shift towards Industry 4.0. This is a result of a long-standing tradition of close cooperation between local industry and businesses, educational institutions, elementary schools and the municipality.

SwissSkills 2025, the fourth Swiss National Skills Championships, will take place at BERNEXPO in Bern from 17-21 September 2025.
Over five days, we’ll celebrate the diversity and excellence of Swiss vocational training, with over 1,000 young professionals showcasing their skills. Featuring 150 trades and 95 competitions, the event will bring together Switzerland's best apprentices and recent graduates to compete for the title of Swiss Champion. The top performers will qualify for WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai.

Hanover Fairground, Hannover, Germany
After training and a prequalification at the DMG MORI Academy, the top six participants based on the preliminary selection results will take part in the national championship of Germany.
The competition will be held at the EMO Hannover trade fair. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to become members of the national WorldSkills Germany team.

Bringing together over 800 regional champions from all over France, the three-day National Skills Competition will be open to the general public and schoolchildren in particular. A veritable benchmark in skills discovery, the young competitors will compete in the 67 trades in official competition.
WorldSkills France's partners will also be on hand to present their sectors and trades through fun activities and challenges. In conjunction with the South of France region and the national education ministry, over 25,000 middle and high school students are expected to take to the aisles of the Parc Chanot to share their desire and pride in their professions.

AustrianSkills are the Austrian State Championships of Professions where almost 50 competitors qualify for EuroSkills and WorldSkills. The competitions are open to all young professionals of dual education as well as vocational schools. The event is organised by SkillsAustria in cooperation with the professional organisations of each trade, vocational schools and more than 250 partners.
Over three days, around 500 young professionals will show their skills and visitors will get their chance to participate in several “try-a-skill” areas. The nationals are open to the public.

Venues across South Wales will host the annual WorldSkills UK Competition Finals.
WorldSkills UK Competitions attract over 6,000 registrations from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland annually.
The competition-based training programmes provide education institutions and employers with opportunities to develop and benchmark the abilities of their students and apprentices against international standards.

The 10th EuroSkills Competition will be co-hosted by Germany and Luxembourg in the city of Düsseldorf in 2027. EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 is scheduled for 22-26 September 2027 at Messe Düsseldorf.
