General Assembly Helsinki
The changes in the Board of Directors were effected during the last General Assembly (GA) held in Helsinki. Meetings concerned the strategy of the organisation and the development of the competitions were organised.
During the meetings consideration was given to how to organise competitions better, how the quality can be further improved, and how the competitions correspond to the world of work and can be more interesting to visitors. Also, the application process for the EuroSkills 2020 competition was launched.
This GA was perfectly organised by Skills Finland. Part of the program was a cruise with drinks and snacks and a reception in the City Hall of Helsinki. The next WorldSkills Europe General Assembly will be held in April 2016 in Gothenburg, Sweden as part of the Competition Preparation days for EuroSkills 2016.
