Discussion on integrating Skills Competitions into the Slovenian VET system
Last week a WSE delegation met in Ljubljana with our member CPI who run Skills Slovenia since 2008 and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia, to discuss next steps in the further development of skills competition structures in Slovenia.
Some good practices were discussed in which it was presented how skills competitions can contribute to the further development of the VET system. Also a Certificate of Merit was handed out by WorldSkills Europe President Hubert Romer to Aleš Ojsteršek, Head of Education Development Office at the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport for his role as an important advocate for EuroSkills and his involvement in the development of the Skills concept in Slovenia.
