From 1 march 2016 on, the organisation “Find a Future” will commence operating under the name of WorldSkills UK. Besides that, the organisation aligned it’s branding with the global branding of the WorldSkills Movement contributing to a global recognizable brand.
Our work places competitions at the heart of all that we do,” explains Dr Neil Bentley, CEO of the organisation, “and the reframing of the organisation under the WorldSkills UK name aims to highlight the impact that competitions and The Skills Show have on apprenticeships and technical skills in the UK.”
WorldSkills UK champions world-class apprenticeships and technical skills. This is achieved by engaging young people in skills competitions, delivering experiential careers events, role modelling to challenge stereotypes and using research to support the apprenticeship agenda. The organisation’s goals are to support business competitiveness, young people’s employability and excellence in standards.
